Left hand menu: Fault reports
The fault reports menu item shows all the faults which a hydraclean engineer has identified when visiting a site for planned preventative maintenance. This could be as simple as not being able to gain access to a water tank, through to a more serious issue such as tank corrosion.
The fault status shows the progress of the fault so it can be tracked through from initial detection, through to remedial work and completion. The fault statuses are:
AA - awaiting action. Fault detected but not yet actioned
FA - further action required. This is an in progress fault that requires further work
FC - fault closed. This fault has been dealt with and can be considered closed
The fault notes field shows updates added to the fault by either yourself, or a hydraclean administrator. This section shows more detail regarding the progress of the fault.
You can also update the fault status yourself, eg, if its a simple 'no access' fault and the engineer has revisited to complete the works, you can consider that fault closed.
The 'date fault closed' and who last updated the fault status is also recorded.
These fault logs can be exported to excel, and provide an invaluble resourse during internal/external audits, as they demonstrate clearly that any onsite issues regarding water safety are being tracked and dealt with.
